I just got back from a "scrap booking weekend retreat". I was expecting to get some "pages" done, visit with some ladies, go swimming, have a couple drinks and share silly stories. Well when I got there @ 1pm on Friday there was already ladies at their tables with all their scrapping "necessities". These ladies were so serious. They didn't leave their tables unless to eat or go to the bathroom and to bed for only a few hours - then right back to it again!!! Now I call that dedication & some might call that just plan crazy!!!
All in all - my friend Allisa and I had a great time. We did our story sharing, I had 1 drink each night (so I can say I had some drinks), and my family came up to see me and we went swimming. I only got a total of 18 pages done... but I had a weekend away and it was fun!
Some say scrap booking is a hobby, I have also heard some say it is a cult. I say give it a try, you never know... you just might have a creative side. In my case, I just have fun and copy my friend's page ideas!!!
